The Broadcast Media program was featured in a recent Winnipeg Free Press article, “Connecting the Dots.” The article highlights the authentic learning taking place at LRATC in each of our programs, and the Broadcast Media program in particular. Hands-on learning is a valued component of learning at LRATC, and our Broadcast Media students complete work experience in renowned institutions such as Radio-Canada and Virgin 103.1 in addition to many other work places. Completing an internship is a meaningful way for students to integrate the skills learned at LRATC and transition to working in the industry. Read the article “Connecting the Dots” here.
